Anthem Artists is a multi-faceted organization headed by James Cullen who has decades of experience in the entertainment industry.
James hails from Long Island, New York and has been producing shows since 1976. James moved to Washington State in 1977 producing outdoor events for major Artists, eventually opening his own venue in Spokane in 1978.
In 1989, James relocated to Oceanside, California. He further diversified his scope by starting an entertainment agency booking private events for major corporations, booking various clubs in San Diego, and producing several large outdoor events.
In 1996, James joined forces as an agent at a major agency with offices in Anaheim, Sacramento, Nashville, Las Vegas and San Diego. James headed up the concert division out of his Carlsbad, CA office.
During the same time, James was the booking agent for The Ventura Theatre, a 1500 capacity venue in Ventura, CA.
In 1999, James started his own agency, Anthem Artists, with partner Sue Cullen -- who has brought keen publicity and music marketing acumen to the team.
Together, James and Sue have been specializing in Indian gaming entertainment; providing first class service and entertainment to the Indian Casino industry -- working closely with NIGA – The National Indian Gaming Association.
The Indian Gaming business has an ever-changing climate – and Anthem Artists has been able to keep up with the workings of a large Indian Casino in bringing the best possible entertainment services.
Anthem Artists is the talent buyer for Sycuan Casino & Resort - El Cajon, CA; The Ventura Theatre – Ventura, CA; and is a consultant for major California concert productions and buyers.
